The earth moves under your feet?
Not at all it’s probably a recently made manhole cover. Coz they just don’t make ‘em like they used to.
The former Borough Council recycled man hole covers around the Town of Wexford. Made of sterner stuff than their modern counterparts. Wear adds character as opposed to leading to deterioration through their surface. These covers will conceal the happenings beneath for hundreds of years to come if they’re allowed.
