Motion & Audio experiments

It’s no secret I’m a major fan of animation from Disney, Manga, Dreamworks  to more obscure studios. Indeed at one stage in my creative education I contemplated becoming an animator. Animation has taken strides from drawing & painting cells and stop motion to ‘Flash’ and equally versatile animation program suites.

Below you’ll find some more examples of  typographic animation.

Rather captivated by the typography, only recently, I discovered this video is a tribute to the ‘Portal’ (Video game) Portal is a single-player first-person action/puzzle video game developed by Valve Corporation. The game was released in a bundle package called The Orange Box for Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360 on October 9, 2007 and for the PlayStation 3 on December 11, 2007.

Portal has been acclaimed as one of the most original games in 2007 despite being comparatively short in length. The game has received praise for its unique game play and darkly humorous story.
